City of Columbus, Blacklick Creek Sanitary Interceptor Sewer Tunnel

View all

Columbus will be extending the existing Blacklick Creek Sanitary Interceptor in order to provide sanitary sewer service to areas within the City’s tributary boundary. The Blacklick Creek Sanitary Interceptor Sewer (BCSIS) is an extension of an existing 66-inch sewer that currently ends near Blacklick Ridge Boulevard. The project area encompasses the Reynoldsburg-New Albany Road corridor and extends from Blacklick Ridge Boulevard, north to Morse Road.

To finance the construction of this project, the City of Columbus will evaluate obtaining a low interest loan from the Ohio Water Pollution Control Loan Fund (WPCLF).
